Blyantfabrikken in Copenhagen

In a restored pencil factory on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, Morten Bo Jensen og Kristina May have created they’re own little beautiful nest using mainly black and white with an interruption of warm wood.

It has a raw intention in use of materials, but the added pieces of wood give the industrial feel a softness that makes it seem very homely. The piece of pencil art on the wall is made by the owner himself, using 195 pencils and a stapler, truly love it. The living area and the dining area is divided by a big concrete flower pot and is the only color added to the room beside of all the black and white. Have you ever been afraid to go all black in your kitchen I dare to say you’re not anymore, after seeing this one! The kitchen is from Vipp, so is the bathroom furniture.
