Hardanger Retreat – modern Norwegian Hut

What a great organic shape to his Norwegian hut designed by Todd Saunders and Tommie Wilhelmsen.

The size is only 20 m2. As young unexperienced architects, this was a self-initiated and self-financed project they completed in 2003. The architecture and the choice of material adds a new dimension at the same time I think it is blending into the woods. Big windows bring the nature inside. I would truly love to wake up here one morning. Photo credit Bent René Synnevåg.
