Inspiration Stryn – a creative view on a destination

Stryn is a tiny place on the beautiful west coast of Norway. If you are finding yourself doing a road trip in this area it is definitely worth a detour. Anyway, this gem of a destination has invited four artists to them to be… inspired! And this invitation led to some great art projects showcased in a movie.

One of the 4 movies I am highlighting is a Norwegian design, craft and art studio called Kneip. A studio founded by Jørgen Platou Willumsen and Stian Korntved Ruud.  Together they share different experiences and knowledge that they use to make Kneip a diverse studio. Nature and craftsmanship are important sources of inspiration as you can discover on their website Stian Korntved Ruud did a 365-day spoon project that I urge you to read a bit more about.

I give my hats off to Inspiration Stryn and their ability to think a bit fresh when it comes creating inspiring content to their destination branding. Showcasing both their beautiful space and some great Norwegian talents. It is a few years since I was visited Stryn, but these films make me want to go back very soon!
