I came across this beauty of a house on the Swedish interior magazine Residence website. What stands out here for me is the beauty in the simple shape of a square and a triangle, and the repetitive shapes. In some ways is a bit naive, but I like it. And triangle with the roof connecting the main house with the guest house is just brilliant. Why make a house with all complicated forms and texture when keeping it simple is more than enough. The architects behind this are Swedish hottest architects Tham & Videgård. Images are from Residence and taken by Åke E:son Lindman and stylist is the amazing Lotta Agaton.

IDEAS TO STEAL FROM THIS HOUSE:

1. Great architecture is also about creating great space in-between the buildings, this is a perfect example of this.

2. If you are afraid that lots of concrete will make the house cold and hostile, add wood! The combination is perfect.

3. If you have a great view, maximize it! That is what big windows are there for!
